Finale

This is me with my daughter, Jaemey. Tomorrow is her birthday & it's also the big finale to this amazing adventure.
It's hard to believe. It's been an painstaking journey filled with challenges. It's been an exceptional experience and one I will treasure for the rest of my life.
I love you Jaemey. Happy Birthday!

I'm excited to see my family again.

Thank you to all of you for your support & enthusiasm.

5 to go!

Thank you to my friends & family who joined me in Champaign, IL. It was such a boost to my spirit to see you & spend some time with you.

There will be some new pictures soon.

My grandson has already changed so much since I last saw him. It's a blessing to see him growing up so strong and healthy.

I've cycled a total of 2,601 miles & have 1,246 remaining.
There are 5 states to go: Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, & New Hampshire.

All the support & prayers are appreciated I hope you'll continue while I finish up my journey.

Illinois

It's so amazing that we've made it to Illinois now. In some ways it's gone by so quickly.

I'm really looking forward to seeing my family tomorrow in Champaign. If anyone else would like to visit with me. We're expecting to arrive around 2pm.

See you tomorrow!

50-50

I know you won't believe this, but this amazing journey of mine is reaching the mid-point! Of the 52 days, we're on day 26!

There are tough times & joyous times, but it's all part of the fun. Although some might say "fun". It's such a rewarding experience and it's difficult to put into words.

I hope that you'll continue to email, call, and follow my blog. I am so appreciative of your support and love.

Another week

I've updated almost another week's worth of photos.

Things are going well on the road, as you can see I'm going to have a pretty permanent bike short tan line.

There is a Korean film crew capturing some footage of me along my journey. They were here earlier in the journey & they'll come back again towards the end. I hope I'll be able to share their work with you soon. Or at least a portion of it.

I'm in Colorado now...keep checking the map below to see my progress across the country.
Keep me in your thoughts & prayers.
